In Manhattan

Four ways the city actually uses a car

Most Manhattan bookings fall into one of these. If yours does not, describe the day and we will tell you what makes sense.

Airport Runs

Midtown to JFK, LaGuardia or Newark and back, with the pickup time worked backwards from your check-in cut-off rather than guessed at.

Corporate Days

Client pickups, roadshows and board arrivals on one account, with consolidated billing and a car that holds between meetings.

By the Hour

A car and chauffeur held for the afternoon or the evening — shopping on Fifth, a museum run, or a dinner that has no fixed end time.

Evenings Out

Theatre, galas, restaurant openings and anniversaries, with a pickup point agreed in advance so nobody hunts for a car at eleven.

Coverage

Every neighbourhood, one dispatch desk

From the Battery to the top of Harlem, river to river. Give us an address and we will get to it — there is no zone map and no edge of the service area halfway up the island.

Beyond the island we run the other four boroughs, Westchester, Long Island and northern New Jersey, plus longer hauls to the Hudson Valley, Philadelphia and Boston on request.

Airport Transfers

Three airports, timed from your door

Driving allowances we build into a Midtown reservation. They already contain a normal amount of slack — they are not best-case times.

LGA LaGuardia Airport 30–40 min off-peak · 60–75 peak

The closest airport to Midtown and the one where minutes matter most. The Queens–Midtown Tunnel and the Grand Central Parkway both bottleneck at rush hour, so we route around whichever is worse that morning.

Book LGA Car Service
JFK John F. Kennedy International 45–60 min off-peak · 75–110 peak

The long-haul airport, and the least predictable drive we run — the Van Wyck can add half an hour without warning. Tell us the airline and we will pick the approach and the terminal door to match.

Book JFK Car Service
EWR Newark Liberty International 45–60 min off-peak · 80–120 peak

The cross-Hudson run, where the Lincoln Tunnel decides your morning and there is no second option that is reliably faster. We pad the schedule rather than pretend otherwise.

Teterboro, Westchester County and Long Island MacArthur are quoted on request. More on timing in our airport timing guide

Booking

Four details and we can quote it

01

Tell us the trip

Pickup and destination addresses, date and time, any stops along the way, and how many people are travelling. Flight number too, if there is one.

02

Count the bags honestly

This is what decides the vehicle, and it is the detail most often understated. Three passengers with three large cases are not a sedan booking.

03

We come back with a flat rate

In writing, same day, with tolls and gratuity itemised. No surge multiplier, and no estimate that grows while you sit in traffic.

04

Your chauffeur is briefed before you leave

Route checked against live conditions, building access confirmed, cabin conditioned. By the time you walk out, the work is already done.

Held by the hour, so the car is still there when the evening runs long.

Curtain Up

Theatre & Dinner

Dropped at the door before the curtain, collected from a spot agreed in advance rather than from a kerb full of people doing the same thing.

Manhattan Questions

Asked before most bookings

Yes — from the Financial District to Harlem, river to river, including the Upper East and Upper West Sides, Midtown, Chelsea, SoHo, Tribeca, Hudson Yards and the Village. We also run out to the other four boroughs, Westchester, Long Island and New Jersey.

Twenty-four to forty-eight hours is comfortable for most trips, and same-day is often possible — call and we will tell you straight away. Book earlier for gala season, graduation weekends, General Assembly week in September and the run-up to the holidays, when the fleet fills first.

Yes. You get a flat rate in writing before you confirm, with tolls and gratuity itemised rather than buried. There is no surge multiplier and no estimated fare that grows in traffic.

On hourly hire the car and chauffeur stay with you for the whole booking, so you can hold the vehicle through dinner, a meeting or a show. For point-to-point trips we quote the route and any scheduled stops up front.

Yes. Add your flight number when you book and we monitor it from departure through to landing, so a delay moves your pickup automatically. Complimentary wait time is measured from when you actually land, not from the scheduled time.

Yes. Conferences, wedding parties and client roadshows run on one coordinated schedule from a single dispatch desk — one point of contact, one invoice, however many cars it takes.
